About my Nonprofit or Company (or myself if an individual)
Noel House Programs provides safe and comfortable shelter for a diverse community of homeless women, particularly those most vulnerable.

* We strive to create an environment of dignity, respect and compassion.
* We recognize the intrinsic value of every woman and honor her unique experience.

Noel House Programs began as an emergency shelter for homeless women unaccompanied by children in response to the severe winter of 1990. Today, Noel House Programs continues to offer dignified and compassionate survival services to Seattle's most vulnerable homeless population. Over the years, our services have grown to include coordinating available shelter across multiple providers and offering comprehensive case management resources at the main Noel House shelter.

Noel House Shelter

The main Noel House shelter provides hot meals and a safe place to sleep to 40 women on any given night. Women may stay in an assigned bed at the shelter for up to one year. While women wait for a bed to become available at the main shelter, we can accommodate them through our four faith-based volunteer-run shelters:

* St. John's Catholic Church
* Temple de Hirsch Sinai
* Holy Rosary Catholic Church
* Bethany Community Church

St. Mark’s Shelter

In addition to the 40-bed shelter at Noel House and the volunteer-run shelters, the program operates a staff-run shelter for 30 women at St. Mark's Cathedral. In total, 92 homeless women receive shelter every night of the week from Noel House Programs' shelter network.
Women's Referral Center

Seattle has a desperate need for women’s emergency shelter. Each day, more than 180 homeless women arrive at the doors of the Women’s Referral Center seeking a safe place to stay for the night. The Women’s Referral Center provides a place where women can wait for a bed referral and transportation to an area shelter while receiving an evening meal and accessing health and hygiene services.

Thank you for visiting. Please join us in creating a compassionate community that advocates for and provides essential services to women experiencing homelessness.
